Looking after your blooms

Looking after your flowers once they've arrived is so important to ensuring you get as much vase life as possible to enjoy as much time with your petals that you can.

Here are some great tips to ensure your flowers stay beautiful for longer!

LIFE IS BETTER WITH FLOWERS

Once your incredible blooms are in your hot little hands, it's time to connect to your inner florist! You will need to ensure that all the leave are stripped from the base of the flower stems, ensuring there is limited green matter to go into the vase. When leaves are under the waterline, our water goes south pretty quickly! â€‹

Next stop is water! Water is critical to the success of your flowers within your vase, so making sure you have a clean vase that has been washed thoroughly with soapy water is critical. Then the vase will need to be filled half way, checking to make sure that there won't be any leaves or broken stems in the water. The water will need to be replaced every 2 days, and if you have any Flower food, your flowers will think you are the bees knees!

Last but not least, is giving your flowers a small trim to their stem, making sure the flower stem has the best chance of taking up as much water as possible. Popping them into the vase gently is the key, every time we touch precious flowers, we need to ensure to be gentle to mitigate broken stems and bruising of petals. Every few days, remove any wilted or damaged leaves or flowers to keep your bouquet looking fresh!

Then Simply Enjoy!
